Furled Leaf

Sustainable Initiatives - Tangible Benefits

Furled Leaf is an assortment of sustainable engineering and software initiatives currently focused on two goals:

  1. Bridge the gap between global decarbonisation technologies and vulnerable members of society, so all may benefit from solar, battery and electrified appliances.

  2. Develop platforms for researchers to share their projects with industrial partners, fast-tracking their solutions to secure funding, and expansion post-PhDs.

About Us

“Furled Leaf’s goal is simple, to build upon our experience in modelling the net-zero transition through national grid decarbonisation and combine it with our passion for rapid solutions to the climate change challenge. From our work over the past few years, including the nuclear submarine programme, working on decarbonisation models and later as a carbon analyst, we aim to focus on the existing challenges that prevent cutting edge technology from entering the market quickly, Additionally, we are developing programmes to ensure that those technologies, once mature, are available to the most vulnerable in society through outreach and government funded initiatives.” - Joshua Mills
